KODAI uses your Stripe account to power Customer Intelligence, retention views, and forecasts. Connecting Stripe is a one-time setup and usually takes under five minutes. Here's what to do and what to expect.
Where to start
Log in to KODAI and go to the area where you connect or manage your data source. If Stripe isn't connected yet, you'll see a prompt or button such as "Connect Stripe" or "Connect your account". Click it to start the flow. You need a Stripe account (standard or Express) that holds the subscription and customer data you want to analyze.
Authorize in Stripe
You'll be redirected to Stripe's authorization page. Stripe will show which permissions KODAI is requesting—typically read access to customers, subscriptions, and payment methods so we can build Customer Intelligence, retention, and forecasts. Review and click "Connect" or "Authorize". You may need to log in to Stripe first if you aren't already.
After connecting
Once authorized, you're sent back to KODAI. The connection is saved; you don't need to reconnect unless you revoke access in Stripe. Customer Intelligence, Retention Cohorts, and Forecasts & Stress Testing will start using your live Stripe data. If you have multiple Stripe accounts (e.g. test and live), make sure you've connected the one you want to use for this workspace.
Disconnecting
You can revoke KODAI's access at any time from your Stripe Dashboard under Settings → Connect → Connected applications. After you revoke, KODAI will no longer be able to read your data; you can reconnect later if you want to use the product again.
In short
Click Connect Stripe in KODAI, approve the requested permissions in Stripe, and you're done. The whole process usually takes under five minutes. Your Stripe data then powers Customer Intelligence, retention views, and stress tests.
