Customer Intelligence and Customer Segments

KODAI Team|

KODAI's Customer Intelligence view gives you a single place to see the health of your subscription revenue. Central to that are customer segments: New, Active, Past Due, Failed, Expiring Soon, and Churned. Here's what each segment means and how to use them to act on at-risk revenue.

What is Customer Intelligence?

Customer Intelligence is the main dashboard for your Stripe-backed subscription business. It shows summary cards—e.g. failed payments, trials not converted, expiring soon—and a filterable customer table. Every row is tied to your live Stripe data, so you see current payment status, MRR, plan, and churn risk in one place. You can switch time ranges (e.g. last 30 days) to focus on a specific period.

What the segments mean

New: recently started or in trial. Active: paying and in good standing. Past Due: payment failed but still in retry or grace period. Failed: payment failed and not recovered—these need attention fast. Expiring Soon: card or subscription ending shortly; good candidates for dunning or renewal outreach. Churned: canceled or no active subscription. We don't show a churn risk badge for these customers, since they're already gone.

How to use segments in the table

Use the segment filters above the table to show only one segment (e.g. Failed or Expiring Soon) or "All" for a mixed view. The table supports sorting and column reordering. Focus on Failed and Expiring Soon first to save revenue; then use Past Due and Active to prioritize who to contact. Churned is useful for win-back or analysis, but they don't get a churn risk indicator.

In short

Customer Intelligence plus segments give you a clear picture of who's at risk and who's already churned. Use the filters and table to act on the right customers at the right time.
