This Refund Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, and trial billing are handled for KODAI, operated by kidd.vc. It applies to all subscription purchases made through our website or payment provider.
1. 24-hour refund window for new subscription charges
In general, customers may request a full refund within 24 hours after an eligible subscription charge is completed. If approved, the refund is issued to the original payment method and access to paid features may be limited or revoked once the refund is processed.
To request a refund, contact hi@usekodai.com and include your account email, charge date, and transaction reference.
2. Free trials require a valid credit card
Our free trial requires a valid credit card at sign-up. No fee is charged at the moment of trial activation. If the trial is not canceled before the trial period ends, the applicable subscription charge is processed automatically according to the selected plan.
Customers remain fully responsible for canceling before the trial end date if they do not want to continue with a paid subscription.
3. Eligibility and limitations
Refunds are assessed case-by-case and are typically available only for initial or renewal charges reported within the 24-hour window. Except where required by applicable law, the following are generally not refundable:
- Requests submitted after 24 hours from the relevant charge timestamp
- Partial billing periods or unused time after the refund window
- Charges where abuse, policy violations, or fraud indicators are present
This policy does not limit any mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.
4. Cancellation of subscriptions
You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation prevents future renewals, but does not automatically create a refund for charges that have already been processed. Access remains active until the end of the current billing period unless a refund is approved.
5. Refund processing times
Once approved, refunds are initiated promptly. Depending on your bank or card issuer, the final posting of refunded funds can take several business days.
